Ghanaian socialite, actress, and singer, Efia Odo, has narrated how she got involved in a hot police chase during her time in New York, United States of America.
According to her, while going on a date with her ex-lover in the United States, they had crossed a red light, and the police were after them to give them a ticket for a traffic violation; however, her lover would not park for the ticket.
Efia Odo said that when she inquired from her lover why he wouldn’t park to receive the ticket from the police, she was told that they were driving a stolen car and that her lover was an ex-convict.
“There was this one time I was dating this guy and we were going on a date and we were driving; this was back in New York. So, we were driving, and he crossed the red light. The police were chasing us to give us a ticket, but he didn’t want to stop.
“So, I asked him what the case was, and he said he could not stop the car because it was stolen. I was in a car with this guy, and I didn’t know the car was stolen or that he was an ex-convict. Eventually, he slowed down, got down, and fled the scene,” Efia Odo said in a one-on-one interview on 3xtra.
Efia Odo said she was not prosecuted because she was a child at the time of the incident.
