Ghanaian musician Vera Hamena Kpedo, known in showbiz as MzVee has praised her colleague songtress Efya for consistently standing up for her in times of difficulties.
According to Mzvee she shares a unique relationship with the “Saara” hit-maker.
“It was really tough for me when I was battling depression but I have always looked up to Efya and she has been there for me, she has become a sister to me. She really helped me, we were virtually talking on a daily basis.”She said in a video sighted by Ghanaweb on Youtube.
The “Come and See My Moda” singer furthered revealed that she is now back to her usual self after a failed attempt to abandon music.
MzVee also revealed that she has been working on her new music the last few months, adding that the song titled “Sheriff” will be released on January 9, 2020.

MzVee has in an exclusive interview with Bela Mudi on TV3’s New Day morning show narrated how depression forced her to leave the music scene for two years.
Explaining her assertion on the show, Mzvee indicated that her turmoil was “the craziest thing”, that has ever happened to her.
She furthered that there were times that she laid on the floor and cried several times.
“When my whole depression thing happened, I did un-follow people. I just wanted time away. I was lashing out in ways I didn’t even understand. I pulled away from everyone. I coiled up in my shell,” she revealed.

Rumours swelled last year on social media that the then signee of Lynx Entertainment had taken a break from music because she was heavily pregnant.
Photos of her with what many described as a pregnancy bulge surfaced on social media in multiple folds.
Others indicated that the ‘Sing My Name’ hitmaker left Lynx Entertainment because she had issues with her record label.
