Ghanaian gospel musician and staunch NPP supporter Nicholas Omane Acheampong has levelled some serious allegations against the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He has claimed that they are planning to incite chaos in the Ashanti region by burning major markets.

In an interview on Wontumi Radio, the "Zaphnath Paaneah" singer stated that the NDC intends to hire individuals to set fire to markets such as Kejatia, Ashanti Mampong, and Agogo just two days before the elections.

He argued that this tactic is aimed at disrupting voter turnout in the region.

"Now the NDC is planning that when it's left with two days to the elections, they will hire some individuals to set major markets ablaze.

“This would diminish the enthusiasm for voting, leading to lower voter turnout in the Ashanti region, which they hope will help them win the elections," he said.

Nicholas Omane Acheampong is among several Ghanaian celebrities publicly supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the elections approach.
