The latest album is "Asem Foforo" with hit singles getting heavy rotation; "Obetwani; Besia yi Bekumi, Adepa wofie, Akosua Kumah" and more. Each artiste contributed three tracks on the album.
Taking time off his busy schedule, Mr. Sakyi in an interview with this writer at his office in Virginia, USA said that each of the trio has respectively made a name for himself and together would take their God given talent to another level by teaming up and becoming a powerhouse; Triple O.
He is very proud that three great artistes decided to collaborate, share ideas and suceed together as a group. He is confident that the album is definitely going to be a worldwide hit just like the sucess each artiste has had and is worth having a copy in one's CD library. Mr. Sakyi also talked about a gospel album in the works.
In a phone interview with the trio; Opam explained his nickname as "God is great" and is also related to Obour (Mr. Konkontibaa and Juaso's finest). He continued that "Obetwani" means a Palm Wine Tapper and that people prefer to have a drink during occasions like parties and funerals, hence tell the palm wine tapper to bring the drink.
The song does not glorify drinking habits and made it clear with the chorus "If you drink don't drive and if you drive, don't drink" and also in support of the road safety awareness. Produced by Morris "Baby Baby" Face, the song is going to be the next dance hall "massive" beside Sidney's "Obia nye Obia".
Osaray also now goes by the name "Araba Yaa". Because of his success with the hit single, fans frequently calls him by that name so he decided to keep it. He talks about "Besia ye Bekume" as a lady whom he met and she impressed him; - "O my God this girl is impressive, her behaviour is beyond imagination and because of her beauty, it reminds me of my wife in Sepe, Buokrom".
It is worth noting that Osaray's worldwide dancehall hit; "Araba Yaa" is still hot, danceable and loved by young and old. "Araba Yaa ei, mesi boo no aben ......".
Obomofour aka Thunder said "Adepa Wofie" focuses on a long distance relationship and how one should respect the other. On what keeps them grounded; the trio mentioned that they are always hunting for good lyrics and that is a sign for longevity.
