Former hiplife duo Ennwai and Paa Kwesi (Dobble) may have gone their separate ways but Ennwai seem to be doing great with his release of series of gospel songs.

Ennwai has released a series of gospel songs which includes, Give thanks, Jah over everything, Halle Halle among others.

Produced by Itz CJ, one of the fastest growing music producers in Ghana, Halle Halle is in a highlife vein, sang in Key B Flat Major. “In Halle Halle’, Ennwai talks about God taking him from the slums and making him better than before. He says because of God’s goodness, he will sing ‘Hallelujah’ to his name. It has a chorus that can easily be sang along; that is the trick to having a hit song. “Simple and catchy choruses travel faster,” his management said.

Ennwai sings in his usual ‘Dobble’ style. He may not be counted among the top vocalists in Ghana but he did justice to the song with his vocal ability. The harmonies also come out well and make the song so soothing to the ears.

The song affirms the beliefs of the religious person. It tells one to be thankful to their God. In Christianity that is one of the main purposes of worship. It is believed that adoring and thanking God makes Him open more doors of blessings for you.

Ennwai is currently working on ‘Krom aye de’ video which will be out soon.
