Days after being duly registered with the Ghana Education Service Secondary Division as an option for candidates to choose to study Cosmetology and Beauty Therapy, Ghana’s leading cosmetology and beauty therapy school FC Beauty College, is set to launch a state-of-the-art student salon for students who under-take courses in the College.
Set to be formally inaugurated next week, the salon would be the first of its kind in Ghana and will serve as litmus test of whether students passing out of the Beauty College, have understood into detail, what they’ve been taught.
Management of the institution is also hoping that the salon would offer the students, hands-on experience before they get into mainstream industry practice.
Led by Mrs. Grace Amey Obeng, Medical Aesthetician, successful entrepreneur and CEO of the FC Group of Companies, under which the FC Beauty College is wholly-owned, the college continues to offer hope and inspiration to many more of Ghana’s youths. Till date, some 10,000 students have passed through the college, acquiring workable skills in the process and currently using it in their various fields of cosmetology and beauty therapy, both home and abroad.
The FC Beauty College was started in 1999 at the Lutheran School in Accra with some 3 students. Today, it has outgrown its initial challenges and become the preferred school for most young people in the city and abroad.
With an annual intake of 600 students a year, the college runs basic and advanced diploma specialist programs all year round with customized course options to choose from.
