The National Film Directors Guild of Ghana (FDGG) has announced its preparations towards the Guild’s upcoming Presidential Election scheduled to take place on December 7, 2018.
In an Announcement to members which was signed by the interim President of FDGG, Richard Yaw Boateng, he noted that members of the Guild would have to meet for an emergency Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGM) on October 7, 2018 to promulgation the FDGG Constitution, review and accept the Draft Constitution.
He also charged members to renew their expired membership ID Cards at Gh¢50.00.
“All unregistered members should contact their Regional Chairman and Secretary for their Registration Forms from now to 30th September, for Gh¢100.00 only,” he stated.
For the Presidential Elections, Richard Yaw Boateng noted that on December 7, 2018 the FDGG will vote to elect its National President as well as National Treasurer, tasking the National Board to constitute a 7- member election committee which will organize the 7th December Presidential Elections.
The National Board, he indicated will also lead the whole FDGG members to prepare a budget and raise funds for the election.
Richard Yaw Boateng called on all to support the initiative of the National Board to lead FDGG to the TOP.

Renewal of ID Cards
All members should renew their Expired ID Cards from now to 30th September 2018, for Gh¢50.00 only. Please kindly contact your Regional Chairman.

7th December 2018 is scheduled for FDGG Presidential Elections to elect The National President and the National Treasurer.
Election Committee
The National Board would form a 7 member election committee to organize the 7th December Presidential Election.
Funding The Elections
The National Board will lead the whole FDGG members to prepare the budget and raise funds for the election.
