This month’s Mirror Ball has been cancelled.
Organisers tell Starr News the event was cancelled due to the on-going rift between the staff of the hotel and the management.
Police on Friday blocked a possible confrontation between workers of Golden Tulip and its management after the workers declared a sit down strike.
There has been raging pandemonium at the hotel which is partly owned by the government of Ghana.
Hundreds of workers there are currently in a tussle with some management members over welfare issues.
In addition to accusations of nepotism and discrimination, the workers say the management is collapsing and destroying the hotel.
