Friends Of The Media (FOTM) is pledging its full support for Halifax Ansah-Addo on his move to Despite Media Group as well as congratulating the award-winning journalist for his new leadership role.

Executives and the entire members of FOTM believe the news of Halifax joining the award-winning media house, specifically Okay 101.7 FM, comes as a great refreshment to the entire media landscape as well as the entertainment industry.

Halifax Ansah-Addo who has seen a blossoming career since his News-One days, moved on later to manage The Publisher Newspaper as the Editor-in-Chief. He is as well known for his knack for talent management.

We are of great solace that he coming on board to digest issues that need urgent attention for the betterment of the industry would be of help.

While we express our heartfelt optimism about the yet-to-start show, we are of much concern about pundits who would be introduced on the show. We expect to hear a new voice of intelligent creatives who will critical analyse issues concerning the entertainment Industry.

We further expect content focusing on Ghanaian movies, music, lifestyles, the church gossip, celebrity marriages, inside stories, modeling, poetry, sensations among other relevant discussions instead of the usual trend.

We also call on the support of various industry players in making the show a lasting one devoid of pettiness and other matters which will not be in the interest of the industry.

We once again congratulate Halifax. We wish him well in his new role and pledge our full support in making ‘Best Entertainment Show’ a lasting one.
