Ahead of his December 25th show with KSM, comedian Nana Yaw Benson a.k.a “Funny Face” would be heading to Kumasi this weekend. The stand-up talent told Hi Newspaper his visit to the Garden City to do radio interviews and interact with fans “is by popular demand”.
Also, he wants to go there to gather some fresh ideas outside Accra. “Everywhere in Ghana, there are people who act funny; I'm sure to pick one or two funny things I can use to keep me always on top of my game”.
Funny Face, whose fame has grown exponentially in recent times due to his role as “Chemu” is the TV sitcom, “Chorkor Trotro”, and stellar performance at Charterhouse's Nights of 1010 Laughs and Music, would be passing through Luv FM, Angel FM and Hello FM to do interviews. He would also interact with his fans when he visits those stations. He would also visit Nite Clubs to mingle with his fans and also add to his fan base.
Meanwhile, king of stand-up, Kwaku Sintim-Misa has invited Funny Face on his December 25th show at the National Theater. Funny Face calls it “father and son in action.” The two comedians would do their separate acts but Funny Face revealed KSM is also planning a surprise-collaboration.
