Accra, March 20, GNA - Sleek Cosmetics Ghana Limited, producers and distributors of Sleek Cosmetics brand on the Ghanaian market, on Thursday launched its Make up 2008 advertising and marketing campaign. As part of its marketing campaign, Sleek Cosmetics has signed an agreement with Pearl Amoah, an international model, as "Face of Sleek Makeup 2008" and would participate in all marketing and promotional campaigns for the brand throughout this year. According to Gifty Akasreku, Marketing Manager of Sleek Cosmetics Ghana Limited, the company's vision was to be the market leader of cosmetics in Ghana and a recognizable brand in the makeup and beauty industry in West Africa.
"The campaign by Pearl Amoah will enable the company to effectively target the market through campaigns such as public relations, advertising and charity events," she added. Ms Akasreku said the corporate mission of the company was to produce and distribute cosmetics, hair products and reliable related beauty services of the highest quality to women at competitive prices within the country and the West Africa sub-region. She noted that this year's campaign codenamed "My Skin, My Shade, My Makeup" was to recognise the different skin types and skin shades of women and the fact that Sleek Makeup was the perfect choice for them and that all product categories had more than two types. As part of the contract, Pearl Amoah would receive a new Kia Rio saloon car for her work. The official customer website would be launched soon. Pearl Amoah accepted the challenge and promised to do all she could to help Sleek Cosmetics become a household name in the country and beyond.
