Affectionately referred to as the king of the north in the entertainment industry, Fancy Gadam has shown relentless efforts to bring lasting peace and development to his people through music.

At a peace concert held on 4th December 2016 at the Tamale sports stadium, Fancy did not disappoint the over 19,500 fans who trooped to the venue to enjoy his performances and listen to peace messages by dignitaries present. Leading the peace advocacy was Mr Ibrahim Mahama, brother of the president who advised the youth to eschew all forms of violence before, during and after the general election.

Mr Ibrahim Mahama called on the young people of the north to avoid any form of confrontation that can spark disturbances in their various areas. On election violence, Mr Mahama entreated the young men and women to observe all the electoral rules to avoid being arrested. He told the mammoth crowd that everyone must vote and go home, and wait for the election results.

”After the announcements, we must all accept the results and trust the EC to handle the process. No one must attempt to take the laws into their own hands because we all want peace and developmen” – He said amidst cheers and applauds from the crowd.

Fancy Gadam’s Peace Concert was an all-white free concert to advocate for peace and to show appreciation and respect to his fans after a previous show that he was booked to perform ended abruptly, due to misunderstandings.
