Fans Beg Actress Over Divorce

Fans of actress Luckie Lawson have begged her to solve whatever problems she has with husband Michael Gyan instead of getting a divorce.

NEWS-ONE reported on Friday that the Ghanaian actress was on the verge of splitting with her husband, after they tied the nuptial knot two years ago and that they were planning to go to court to get a divorce despite biblical admonition in Mark 10: 7-9 that “a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.

Neither of them is willing to listen to advice from their family members not to divorce for the sake of their young son. NEWS-ONE has received a lot of messages after Friday’s report, with most of Luckie’s fans pleading that they do not get a divorce. Most of them said for the sake of their son, they should work things out.

Luckie has so far not made any statement about the supposed split as she neither picks her calls nor reply her bb messages. She is currently living in the United State of America with her little boy but will return to town very soon.

Luckie has a movie, ‘Familiar Strangers’ to release, but because of issues with her marriage, she has delayed its release. NEWS-ONE is still trying to get in touch with her so she speaks to the issue. Luckie is known for her in roles in movies like ‘Royal Battle’, ‘The King Is Mine’, ‘Desperate To Survive’, ‘Mummy’s Daughter’, ‘Masters Of The Night’, and ‘Frozen Emotions’.

She had entered Ghana’s movie industry in 2005 when she first starred in Venus Film’s ‘Mummy’s Daughter’; but had her break in ‘Royal Battle’. “I have always wanted to be in the entertainment industry, but not in movies. I like fashion design. I also wish I could sing but unfortunately, I don’t have the voice to,” she once told NEWS-ONE.

She left Ghana for the United States at the age of 14, and returned in 2001 for the first time after the death of her auntie. It was after her return that she realized her passion for acting.

“I bought a Nigerian movie which starred Ramsey and Genevieve. I enjoyed the movie. After that, I said to myself, I can also act and do better.”
