Following the annulment of awards won by dancehall giants Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the 20th edition of the Ghana Vodafone Music Awards, there has been calls on social media for organisers, Charterhouse to refund monies invested in voting for the artistes.

The two artistes were banned from the awards scheme indefinitely, with their awards annulled following an altercation that ensued between them, marring the awards show last Sunday.

The decision to annul the awards won by the two seems not to sit well with fans of the two dancehall artistes as they are demanding a refund of monies invested in voting.

Speaking on 3FM‘s Drive, Head of Productions at Charterhouse, Nii Ayitey Hammond said the two artistes brought the ban and annulment upon themselves by breaching the scheme’s rules, hence, if the fans want any refund, they should do well to ask Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

He pleaded with the media to take up the good parts of the award nights and share to the world instead of focusing on the brawl that caused the show to halt temporarily.
