Farousa Bawah wins Miss Buy Ghana 2013

Farousa Nasara Bawah, a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is winner of the maiden edition of Miss Buy Ghana 2013.

The pageant is an initiative under the auspices of A2Z Firm Movement in conjunction with the Ministries of Trade & Industry, Information & Media Relation and Tourism, Culture & Creative Art is aimed at selling Ghana to the outside world.

Afi Suda Alormasor, a second year student of the University of Ghana Legon andCil-Vya Nana Ama Qwabea a second year student of KNUST took the second and third slot respectively.

The three winners were selected based on their business plan they presented on that night of the event and how best they answered a general question.

The activities on the night of the event scored thirty per cent (30%), the buy to support which scored twenty percent (20%) and an assessment form which scored fifty per cent (50%). The assessment form is made of one’s commitment to the campaign, punctuality, intelligence, marketability, confidence, influence on the public, eloquent and obedience.

The winners are expected to start their own business with money aside taking on a national duty to promote MADE IN GHANA GOODS AND SERVICES.

The judges on the night were sound Engineer, Appietus, Madam Evelyn Anthony, a Director at the Ministry of Information and Media relation and Paa Kay, an event organizer and music analyst.

The Chief Executive Officer and the founder of A2Z Firm Movement expressed appreciation to sponsors for their support.

He hoped the entire nation will embrace the concepts to boost patronage in the coming years.
