For many who have seen the video of Wendy Shay in Accra FM’s studio with Nana Romeo, what their attention has been on is events that led to the RuffTown Records artiste leaving the studio but one key thing that has been ignored is Wendy’s clarion call for support for musicians in the industry.

Wendy who looked passionate about what she was saying urged the media to desist from focusing on trivial issues that do not add any value to professional careers of entertainers but instead, support their brands in reaching higher heights.

The Musician who was bent on not answering the host’s question concerning her relationship with her manager used the medium to rally support for her brand and the entire music industry.

“I came for this interview to talk about my new song not about relationships.I don’t know why I am always asked about my relationship with bullet when there are more important things to talk about that has to do with promoting my songs and Ghana music to reach other parts of the world” –she said

The spotlight has however been taken away from her desire to see her music selling on the international level to the host’s desire to unravel what was probably nonexistent.

Wendy Shay walked out of the interview on Accra FM after she was asked if she was having an affair with her manager and record label boss, Bullet. She told the host she cannot answer “unprofessional questions” when he kept repeating the question she had already made clear was uncalled for.

Wendy Shay was in the studio to promote her new single titled Emergency featuring Bosom P-Yung.
