First Koala Savers Raffle draw held

The first draw of the Koala Savers Club card was held at the weekend with Maama Ghaysi a customer winning over 1.4 million cedis being the cost of shopping she did at the Shopping Centre in two weeks.

Maama Ghaysi, by this draw would have her money refunded to her.

The Koala Savers Club was initiated two weeks ago with about 20 organisations as partners.

A holder of the card enjoys various services and discounts from these organisations and at the end of every fortnight, coded serial numbers on the card are drawn by a computer of which the holder of the number selected is refunded all shopping expenses done within the period under review.

Mr Safwan Wolley, the Managing Director of Koala, said to join the savers club, one had to fill a form, which would enable the Centre to have the particulars of the individual.

After 48 hours the customer is served with a card, which qualifies him or her to receive special discounts and offers with all the partner companies.

The partners include KLM, Standard Chartered Bank, La- Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Elmina Beach Hotel and Busua Beach Hotel.

The rest include Imperial Peking Restaurant, Pillbox Pharmacy, Medipont Pharmacy and Afro Dry Cleaners.
