Rapper FlowKing Stone says it will be difficult for any young artiste to succeed in the game when signed by other successful ones.

To him, he has no intention of signing on up and coming artistes on to his record label because that won’t help them.

Signing of artistes by other musicians has become a difficult subject creating an uncertain situation in the music industry for the past decade in Ghana.

One current issue which most Ghanaians have tried to find its root cause to is Sarkcess Music boss Sarkodie and his boy Strongman.

But critics have blamed Sarkodie for not doing his best for Strongman to shine as he Sarkodie concentrated solely on his career leaving his boy.

However, FlowKing Stone speaking in an interview on Luv Fm in Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGh.com revealed that Strongman didn’t succeed as young rapper whiles with Sarkcess music because his boss was also chasing his dream.

“As an artiste, when you have not completed a certain course which the artiste would understand, it is difficult for you to take full charge of other artistes. That is why is you would hear that King Paluta signed to Guru and it didn’t work…Strongman went to Sarkcess Music and at a point he had to come back, Stoneboy went to Samini at point he had to come” Flowking Stone revealed.

According to him, the failures and setbacks aren’t the faults of them but is because “each one of them is chasing a dream and they haven’t gotten to the level where they want to relax. That same show which is good for Samini is good for Stonebwoy. So when the show comes who is going to play, is it the boss or the boy”

Suggesting the way forward FlowKing Stone noted that all that can be done is re-tweeting songs, doing free features for the boys (up and coming artistes) and directing them.
