Media personality and broadcaster, Kwasi Aboagye, has advised actor and comedian Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, aka Dr Likee, to rescind his decision to quit acting.

The popular skit maker had announced he will end his acting career two weeks after returning to Ghana from the UK.

In an interview, he cited stress, false accusations from trusted people and negative comments on social media as reasons for his decision.

However, speaking on Neat FM on July 31, 2024, Kwasi Aboagye questioned what Dr Likee would do if he decided to quit acting especially as acting and content creation are his major sources of income.

Citing successful figures like Elon Musk and Dr Kwame Despite, Aboagye, advised Dr Likee to focus on the positives of his chosen path and ignore the toxic people.

“If you stop this, what would you do? Would you go and sell bread? This is what is giving you your daily bread. Do you think Elon Musk and Dr Kwame Despite would retire or quit?

“Look at the positives and focus on what you’re doing. Just because of what some people have done to you, you want to quit.

“Forget those toxic people and continue what you're doing. This isn’t something that should make you quit,” he said.
