Davido was visibly moved to tears when he and his wife, Chioma Rowland, exchanged vows during their wedding ceremony.

Emotions overwhelmed the Afrobeats singer as his father-in-law offered prayers and blessings for the couple.

Chioma, deeply touched by the moment, gently dabbed her husband's tears with a handkerchief, but they continued to fall intermittently.

The tears briefly subsided but welled up again when Davido stood and moved away, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of one of his popular songs from the enthusiastic crowd.




An automobile company gifted Davido and his wife a car

GAC Motors, a prominent automobile company, presented Davido and his wife, Chioma, with a brand new Sport Utility Vehicle.

The announcement was made in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, with the caption stating, “GAC Motor Nigeria gifts Davido & his wife a brand new GAC Motor 2024 GN8 MPV as a wedding present. Congratulations from Chairman CIG MOTORS GROUP – CHIEF DIANA CHEN.”



Davido prostrated before Chioma's parents

In a formal gesture to seek Chioma's hand in marriage and assure her parents of his commitment to protect their daughter, Davido was seen prostrating on the floor.

He remained in this humble position for a while, pledging numerous assurances to Chioma's parents and emphasizing that their daughter is in good hands.

“Your daughter will be protected, respected, connected,” Davido to Chioma’s parents," he was captured saying.



Davido almost fell out of his car while on his way to the wedding

A viral video captured the moment when Davido nearly fell out of his moving luxury car on his wedding day.

Dressed in his Igbo attire, Davido was standing through the sunroof of his 2024 electric Rolls Royce Spectre, waving at enthusiastic fans.

Unexpectedly, the driver exercised a brake suddenly, causing Davido to lurch forward briefly, unprepared for the abrupt stop.

His bodyguards and others quickly rushed to his aid, helping him regain his balance.
