Celebrated female broadcaster, Frema Adunyame, formally Frema Ashkar celebrates her 38th birthday today.
As a seasoned media practitioner with cross-platform experience including radio, TV and public relations, Frema Adunyame who was born in Kumasi on 20th, October, 1981, is a philanthropist, professional master of ceremony, artiste manager and CEO of Fablinks media; the media house that successfully organized this year's Odwira Festival Musical Concert at the Aburi Botanical Gardens that attracted over two hundred thousand patrons.
The award-winning broadcaster, who is the host of Utour on Citi TV, spent her formative years at St.Monicas Secondary School in Kumasi and holds a degree in Radio/Television and film from the School of Performing Arts of the University of Ghana, Legon.
She also attended a number of training courses with Canon France International and Voice of America (VOA).
Before joining Citi TV, a sister station of Citi FM under the ownership of Omni Media Limited on July 10, 2018, Frema worked at TV3 as a senior news anchor and a reporter for 4 years before joining ETV news and Metro TV.
She is a divorcee with two lovely kids and a former manageress of multiple award-winning contemporary Highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena.
