There seems to be no limit to the unpredictability of Ghanaian funny man, Funny Face when it comes to pulling stunts to get people laughing. The comedian who recently returned from the UK was seen with a whole new swag on the red carpet of the 2012 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Saturday night.
With a fake British accent, a leopard skinned leather jacket and his usual humour, Funny Face told Confidence Haugen, a host of the red carpet that he was wearing a Giorgio Armani suit and a BlackBerry shoe. To prove that he was bluffing about his customized BlackBerry designer shoes, he sat on the red carpet and pulled off his shoe to show Confidence. Needless to say, when Confidence inspected the shoe, it ended up being a hoax; BlackBerry is not yet into the business of manufacturing shoes. He however got the guests who were watching proceedings inside The Dome, to crack up.
Funny Face, who was later introduced as Chris Attoh’s co-host sprang up more of such antics throughout the ceremony, often to the amusement of the crowd.
