Internationally recognized Ghana comedian, Augustine Dennis has said that GH-Comedy will never get better by one man show.
The comedian believes that, the impulsive behavior of self-acclaimed comedy (king) DKB trying to take GH-Comedy as his own property is a recipe for disaster.
According to the comedian, the only way to make GH-Comedy stand on its feet again is to work together.
The comedians comment comes after reports that the self-made President of Ghana Comedy Network DKB is using his illegitimate powers to “ban” comedians who disrespect him.
The comedy personality shared the post on his Facebook page.
“Despite it all, what looks like a one man show for the past 4 years; I wish GH comedy well. I’d like to see them funnier, getting shows, getting respect. But I don’t see that happening with them being silent about their servitude”
“The gnawing feeling they must have knowing that, they have to always tip toe around a ‘King’ they did not enthrone”
“But you can’t save a slave who’s found a home in his shackles. You can only hope that one day, they see there are more,” he wrote.
