The most important achievement of every Ghanaian musician is to produce hit song after hit song to be able to stay relevant and revered in the music industry.
The industry is choked and to have a hit song is not achieved on a silver platter perhaps the main reason why rapper Elorm Adablah who’s better known as E.L has linked the probability of producing a hit song to lotto staking or better still lottery.
According to EL in the studios of Zylofon FM most recently, although he has managed to churn out a lot of hit songs, however, there is no guarantee that any song he would produce will become a national anthem or hit song.
When asked by the host whether it’s very easy to get a hit song since he’s had lots of hit songs, he said,
“NO, no way. Getting a hit song is lotto. The song you are so sure of that it’s gonna be a hit song and that, at all course will be a banger, might turn out to be the least favourite song that will do well when you release it. Getting a hit song is just like lotto”
When asked why he didn’t sign DopeNation under his management, he said,
“Yes, I don’t believe in artistes signing their fellow artistes under them. It stifles the creativity of the artiste that has been signed and put unnecessary pressure on the artiste that signed his fellow artiste too”.
