Ghanaian music fans will tomorrow witness the much-awaited historic musical concert dubbed ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The annual concert, which is the brainchild of the Bola Ray-led Empire Entertainment, is built on celebrating, uniting and exploring the different yet similar musical tastes, cultures and artistes of both Ghana and Nigeria.
This year’s ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ will bring together the best of Ghana and Nigeria’s music industries to celebrate African music.
Though Ghanaian music fans are confident that artistes like R2Bees, Medikal, AK Songstress, Patapaa, Kelvinbwoy, Ras Kuuku, Opanka, Fameye, Kojo Cue, Shaker and several others would steal the show, the Nigerian artistes have vowed not to disappoint their fans in Ghana.
Nigeria’s celebrated music icon Wande Coal has promised his fans in Ghana to watch out for a great performance from him as he joins the league of Ghanaian and Nigerian musicians who would be performing.
In the Nigerian line-up are Teni, Wande Coal, Victor AD, Saltan, Moziz and a host of others.
Meanwhile, tickets are just about sold out across the city, as fans are rushing to grab the remaining tickets to an event that has been billed as the biggest musical experience of the year.
Tickets are selling now for GH¢150 (regular), VVIP (GH¢300) at Empire Entertainment in North Ridge, Starr FM, Live FM, Airport Shell and all Nallem shops at the Accra, Junction and West Hills Malls.
The main DJ for the night is the award-winning DJ Vyrusky while DJ Putin and DJ Big N will square off during the battle session.
