Uncle Obama singer Deborah Vannesa aka Sister Derby believes that Ghana is doomed based on things that she thinks are retrogressing the development of the nation.
“This country is doomed because nothing is going on in a positive direction, there is so much pollution, corruption, we do not have good roads, no good sanitation and with this kind of attitude nothing will work here”, she said on the Delay Show on Viasat1.
In an answer to if she believes that things would one day get better, she said, “it will be a difficult thing to say and it is because of our mentality. I mean some of these things have become part of us and until we change who we are, we will still be where we are.
“It starts from the educational system, we lack the all round system where good morals and positivity are taught. I just feel like there are lots of angry people and if our systems are put into good use, I think all these things can fade away.”
