Ghanaian artistes must stop being 'boastful travellers'

Atom Atom

Social media commentator, Kofi Sika Deo, who is based in Koforidua in the Eastern region of Ghana has put his spin on how some Ghanaian artistes are boastful of any international deal that comes their way using Atom's recent Apple lies as a case study.

In a Facebook post, Kofi Sika wrote:

Most Ghanaian artist(e)s work out their own downfall. Whenever a big opportunity to make it to the big stage emerges, they begin to misinform, miscommunicate, pontificate and distort the facts. In effect what could have been a springboard or the opening of the floodgates for greater things, ends up becoming a flash in the pan.

A clear example is what happened during the "New guy" saga ; pontification and misinformation cost Sark.

Here comes another fiasco Atom-Apple saga; per what I'm picking from Kelly Mensah's wall it's another horrific nightmare.

Meanwhile, our Nigerian counterparts are making fabulous deals; the Wizkids doing clean business with Drizzy, Davido-Meek Mill, Ice Prince-French Montana, Tiwa (Marvins) - ROC Nation just to mention but a few. Why is it that Ghanaian acts keep on blowing such glorious opportunities down the drain?

For how long will The Ghanaian artist(e) shoot himself in a foot? Interestingly what beats my imagination is that the Ghanaian act does it with a six-gun.

MUSIGHA should consider matching all our artistes to the School of Communication cos we Ghanaians can't take this anymore.
