A Ghanaian cartoonist named Razahk Issaka has created a funny version of DJ Khaled’s ‘Wild Thoughts’ which features Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.
The one minute video tells a tale of an upcoming artiste, Aluta who gets a studio session with a producer to help build his career in the music industry.
As requested by the producer to sing ‘Wild Thoughts’ to test his singing abilities, Aluta who has no ‘respect’ for lyrics failed to deliver making the producer very furious which resulted in him being insulted.
DJ Khaled’s ‘Wild Thoughts’ consists of Latin percussion, acoustic guitar lines and riffs that are heavily sampled from the 1999 hit single "Maria Maria" by Carlos Santana. Lyrically, the song praises a lover who inspires wild thoughts and featured various innuendos and carnal statements.
Commercially, the song reached number one in the United Kingdom, marking Khaled's second and Rihanna's ninth number one. The song also saw chart success in Australia and Canada, where it peaked at number two. The song peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Rihanna's thirty-first top ten songs, Khaled's third, and Tiller's first.
The music video for the song was directed by Colin Tilley and was shot in the Little Haiti neighbourhood of Miami, Florida. The music video was nominated in three categories at the MTV Video Music Awards for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best Art Direction.
But from the producer's unsatisfactory gesture, it seems Aluta's musical career has already come to an end in the studio.
