Boakye Frederick, a Ghanaian man based at Obomeng-Kwahu, is attempting to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest dancing marathon.
Boakye, who intends to dance continuously for some 7 days, started his ambitious venture on July 11, 2024, and is expected to conclude on July 18, 2024, targeting 168 hours in total.
Videos of the attempt circulating on social media show Boakye dancing away to some Ghanaian songs at the Obomong Social Centre, where the event is taking place.
A screen timer in one of the videos sighted by GhanaWeb showed that Boakye had crossed over 50 hours in his attempt.
