Kumawood actress, Matilda has lambasted the Mahama-led administration for bringing untold hardships on Ghanaians, as it has lost political direction.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Ashh FM, the budding actress alleged that the ruling Government has collapsed all social interventions which were implemented by the erstwhile Government led by the former president Kufuor, hence doesn’t deserve another term of office.

She noted that Ghanaians are in anguish under John Mahama’s unfocused governance.

“If I Matilda is okay in life, doesn’t mean that everybody is okay, so proper policies must be implemented to create avenues for the ordinary Ghanaian."

Matilda allegedly accused the president of spending tax payers’ money on some celebrities instead of putting appropriate measures in place to improve the living conditions of the ordinary Ghanaian.

“I learnt President is saying if you are a star and you are on a sick bed his government will support you, what of those who are not stars, who is going to pay their health bills?, I think it shouldn’t be that way; he has to put proper measures in place to cover all individuals like what former president Kufour did.”

She opined that Ghanaians cannot afford four more years of President John Mahama and his NDC government.

Meanwhile, Matilda and award-winning actor and comedian Kofi Adu, aka Agya Koo and other hosts of Kumasi Movie stars have officially declared their support to the New Patriotic Party’s torch bearer ahead of December 7 polls this year.

They have also launched a 57% win campaign for the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
