Actress, movie producer, and philanthropist, Yvonne Nelson, is asking the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo when he will have a Q&A session with Ghanaians.

The actress posed the questions to the president in a series of tweets on her Twitter page, early this morning, to express her hurt and pain about the country’s deteriorating health sector.

According to Miss Nelson, she wonders if politicians visit Korle Bu Teaching hospital when they are sick. She bemoaned the inadequate beds at various hospitals in the country especially Korle Bu Teaching hospital.

“Ghanaians have questions! Mine is about our health sector! It breaks my heart. Hurts. Our public hospitals can’t handle the numbers! Do our leaders visit hospitals like Korle Bu? There aren't enough BEDS!!!!,” she tweeted

In view of these questions, the actress has asked Nana Akufo Addo when he will have time to have a question and answer time with ordinary Ghanaians because according to her, they all have questions they want answers to.

“Mr President, when are Ghanaians getting a Q&A session/time with you?. Not journalists, or media personalities, I'm talking about (students, carpenters, drivers, doctors, waakye sellers, tailors, hairdressers, mothers.etc) we have alot of questions”, she tweeted.

The no bed syndrome has become an unending problem in many Ghanaian hospitals. Patients are said to have lost their lives after they were turned away from various hospitals due to no bed syndrome.

Others have had no choice than to be treated on the floor, on benches, and in plastic chairs, as a result of lack of beds.
