Social media star Ben South has expressed his gratitude to Ghanaians for the love shown to him since he started his career on social media.
He says the love spurs him on as an individual to do more to feed his audience.
“God has blessed me, and I have to be grateful to Him. 2024 has been good. I think that Ghanaians are showing me this kind of love. Wherever I go, people remind me that they watch me and that I should keep doing more,” he said.
Regarding his earnings, he indicated that he does not make much money from the platforms he shares his videos on because he shoots short-form videos.
Answering questions about the kind of videos he creates and the thinking that goes into them, Ben South indicated that he shoots from life’s experiences and his daily dealings with people.
He mentioned that since he shoots with his phone, he is able to produce a number of videos to help feed his audience.
“I plan my skits. Everything is scripted. I write four or five scripts, and I call my people to come, and we shoot. I direct everything myself,” he said. “I use a phone to shoot my skits because of how fast we want to produce them. So after the shoot, I use InShot to edit. I shoot almost ten videos a day and post them for the week. So, while I am posting, I’m planning for the next week. I don’t post mid-content,” he said.
