The Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi will bring an exciting line-up of music, fashion, food , drinks and more from the Caribbean into the ‘Garden City’ on January 28 in a night of fun, dubbed ‘The Caribbean Night’. The casual or beachwear event will see a selection of Caribbean cuisine, with the tempting smells of tropical barbecue and more for guests to savour.
There will also be special cocktail mixes including Jamaica’s finest rum cocktails and other Island favorites available for guests to purchase; and complimentary coconuts will be given to the first 30 guests. For entertainment, there will be a selection of popular reggae music that would be met with dances like dance Limbo and the Conga line.
There will also be the making of island hand bands, a fashion show, a raffle draw with exciting prize packages from Golden Tulip, and many other fun activities. The event will take place at the Golden Tulip Conference Room from 6:30pm till late. Tickets are available at the hotel for Gh¢ 45 for singles, and GH¢ 85 for couples.
‘The Caribbean Night’ comes off the heels of an exciting festive season that saw Golden Tulip, Kumasi City hosting Nollywood stars, Desmond Elliot and Ramsey Noah on the New Year weekend. There was also a family time out for fun and games for the children at the hotel’s children’s park during the festive season.
According to the management of the Golden Tulip Hotel, these activities are part of a long term plan to introduce a variety of entertainment and leisure options for the people of Kumasi and visitors to the ‘Garden City’.
