The family of late gospel music icon Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, alias KODA, have released details about his final funeral rites.
A statement issued on May 10 by the family of the Takoradi-based artiste announced the funeral will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024.
The venue was given as the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) or the Dominion Centre located on the Spintex Road in Accra.
A Daily Graphic online report said some gospel artistes including Pastor Joe Beecham and Uncle Ato were at the one-week observation on Friday.
KODA died on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
As a singer and producer, he is credited with positively impacting the gospel music scene with songs such as ‘Nsempii,’ ‘Nkwa Abodoo,’ ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso’.
