Guru, MzGold, Denrele, sing for charity

Dancehall songstress MzGold is gathering some of Africa’s best entertainers in a charity concert to help raise funds to support Nectar Orphanage & Home at Krobo Odumase in the Eastern Region.

The event, dubbed Sing For Love, is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 24 at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra and will feature Nigerian host Denrele and Ghana’s Guru, Jupitar, Gifty Osei, DJ Kess and DJ Champagne among others.

MzGold, born Temitope Greenaway, is Ghana-based Nigerian dancehall artiste. She has a number of songs including “I Love the Way”, whose video she released weeks ago.

“Lots of us are privilege to live the lives we are living but these orphans don’t have anything. I think helping these orphans will give me greater joy,” MzGold told NEWS-ONE on Monday.

She will not only use the event platform to raise funds but will also use it to create awareness and encourage other philanthropists to go to the aid of the orphanage in question.
