With love and passion in the air the couples hailed the red-carpeted 2008 Happy 98.9 FM Mass Wedding.

The knot was tied between Mr. Paul Nii Annan and Miss Ophelia Adamah; Mr. Philip Amarkwei and Miss Winifred Atidigeh; Mr. Olympio Komla Assisi and Miss Golda-Meir Dugah; and Pastor Thomas Antwi and Miss Mavis Adu-Boakye.

The officiating minister, Rev. Emmanuel Lamptey, in his sermon urged the couples to cherish each other as a token from God till death parts them.

"You should observe your vows and appreciate what God your Creator has entrusted in your hands. Your duty is to support each other in the journey of life in fulfillment of God's creation," he noted.

He as well called on family members and the public in general not to put asunder what God had put together.

Briefing DAILY GUIDE, the General Manager of Happy FM, Capt. Asare-Bediako said the station had distinguished itself with the introduction of the mass wedding in 2006 as part of its social responsibilities.
