It is no longer a secret that popular TV and radio personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, is about to tell her life story like she never has through an upcoming drama series, Cocoa Brown.

It is also no secret that the series will star some interesting personalities such as Shatta Michy, Evelyn Addo (of Home Sweet Home fame), Caroline Sampson, D-Black, Choirmaster, Akofa Edjeani Asiedu, Blaq Boi, Moesha Boduong, Jose Tolbert, Kwaku Elliot, D Cryme, Nana Boroo, among others.

The series, which has been confirmed to air on Viasat1 very soon, will evolve around the life of the main character known as Cocoa Brown, and will bring to bear what a young and ambitious woman has to sacrifice to get to where she wants to go.

Delay is known to be outspoken and blunt especially on her shows, and for someone to tell her life story, it had to be someone who could bring out her true character.

A couple of years ago, Ghanaians and the world discovered and fell in love with a certain lady known as Ahuofe Patri, who Kalybos kept trying to impress on the Boys Kasa web series.

Earlier this year, she took the Ghanaian box office by storm as the unsuspecting trophy in the Amakye and Dede showdown.

Her coy offscreen nature usually has most of us wondering what lies beneath the petite frame, edgy haircut, and her warm smile…put together, became a truckload of talent!

Not only does she lead a fierce ensemble of actors, she also carries the show by perfectly delivering on her most demanding role to date.

The title character for this show had to primarily be someone who could make a fluid transition from relatable to untouchable, damaged to resilient, virginal to sexpot… For a character that demanded such duality and gravitas, casting her for the role was a no-brainer.

Her name is Priscilla Opoku-Agyeman, and she is… Cocoa Brown.
