Hitz FM Presenter, Lexis Bill in a Secret Love Affair With Miss Tourism ?

Rumours that Hitz Fm presenter Lexis Bill is having a secret love affair with Miss Tourism Ghana, Charlotte Aku Sika, are gradually gaining grounds.

Sources say the two have been seeing each other for some time now and have been spotted several times at unexpected joints including some entertainment shows. However, the two figures have contested the claims with the usual “we are just friends”; an explanation Ghanaian celebrities are noted for.

“She is just a normal friend. We are not dating, we are good friends. I mean she is a very pretty lady. She is a nice lady, you know…hahaha. We are friends. We are very good friends, yea. We met on my show when I interviewed her and we became good friends from there.

I wouldn’t readily know why people are reading amorous meanings into my relationship with her but we’ve been together a couple of times. May be people have seen us together at certain programmes. I think that is why people are thinking like that. You know it is a free world…” Lexis Bill told NEWS-ONE on Friday after he was asked about his true relationship with the tourism queen.

Interestingly, she is also preaching a similar message. Last Monday, the same question was thrown at her by an anonymous viewer via text message when she appeared on etv’s Late Night Celebrity Show with Papa Sly.

“He (Lexis) is a good friend,” she said after a long laughter, looking so amazed with obvious signs that she did not expect that somebody could ask a direct question about her and Lexis Bill. “We are just friends,” she added. She told hostess Dzifa Smith that she was seriously hooked. “I’m not single but I am not married,” she said, refusing to drop the name of the dude who many believe is Lexis Bill.

This is first time Lexis Bill has been tagged with a particular lady in the public domain. Lexis Bill presents Daybreak Hitz on the nation’s premier entertainment station, Hitz 103.7 FM, from Mondays to Fridays.

Born Sakyiamah Louis, Lexis is imbued with abundant wit and a crazy sense of humour, laced with an eclectic selection of music, which always keeps his listeners enthralled.

Born in the 80s to Dickson Nuamah and Mrs Wilhemina Aninwaa, Lexis was into poetry and the literary arts which led to his teaming up with a friend to set up the Love Foundation which groomed children in the literary arts. He has been on radio in Kumasi since 2004 when he joined Focus FM as a first year student of KNUST. Within two years, while still a student of KNUST, he joined Kapital Radio as the drive time host, carving a niche for himself as the voice of urban radio in Kumasi, with an infectious delivery and authoritative presentation of R&B and Hiphop.

His humorous side was also showcased in The Easy Joint, a Friday night comedy show also on the same station, along with his colleague Alexander Asante.

Upon graduating with a B.A in Sociology, with a major in Human Resources, he was hired by Xtacy FM to host the station’s midmorning show after undergoing some training in radio programming. In recognition of his acumen and leadership skills, he was appointed programmes manager of the station. Lexis cites Tommy Annan Forson as one of his mentors who groomed him at Rabodef.
