Popular singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed how she navigates the entertainment industry without getting roped into its controversies.

The ‘Johnny’ crooner stated that she does not allow people’s opinions to get to her.

Speaking on the sidelines of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ listening party in Lagos recently, Alade explained that she handles negative criticisms by simply ignoring them.

She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s the only one life I have.

“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me, I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
