Talk about the 2018 Easter Comedy show and be rest assured that patrons got their money’s worth after spectacular performances by artistes on the bill.
One person that served the audience some rib cracking moment was popular Nigerian comedian Otolorin Kehinde aka ‘Kenny Blaq’ who gave out an ecstatic show with his unique blend of comic acts.
Touted as one of the most sought-after comedians in the Nigerian comedy industry, the young comedian, who refers to his style of comedy as ‘musicomedy’, dished out jokes about his experiences in London, Ghanaian music and celebrities.
Among his top performances was his rendition of hit song ‘One Corner’ Kenny Blaq gave fans a thrilling experience with his amazing blend of humor to light up the event. Another was when he threw a slight shade at controversial and self-acclaimed dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
It was a blend of music and comedy when Ghana’s prince of comedy Lekzy Decomic who doubled as host of the 4-hour event, musicians Adina, Nana Yaa, experienced Nigerian comedians Okey Bakassi and Gandoki, and fast rising comic actor James Brown, homoured patrons and entertained them with good music at Easter Comedy show.
The Easter Comedy show seeks to promote Africa’s finest comedians. This year’s edition of the show was nothing short of spectacular and memorable performances as the billed acts kept the auditorium of Accra International Conference Centre roaring with laughter throughout the night.
