How Lordina’s Kente left an impression on the Queen

When president Mahama embarked on a 4 day visit to the United Kingdom, he had the company of his wife, madam Lordina with him and when the time came for the pair to meet Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, it was the first lady’s beautiful Kente which radiated the room thanks to the bold colours and style.

While the 88-year-old queen wore an elegant cream boucle dress to greet Mr. Mahama, accessorized with a gold brooch and string of pearls, Lordina wore an eye catching floor length multi-coloured gown.

It appears the bold yellow, blue and red frock captivated the Queen as she shook hands with Ghana’s first lady.

President John Dramani meanwhile presented the queen with his book -My first coup d’état- which chronicles his own story of growing up in Ghana during the post-independence era of most African states.
