Ghanaian rapper Jason Gaisie, popularly known as Pappy Kojo, has praised his senior colleague Tic Tac for his pivotal role in shaping his music career.

In an interview with Kingdom FM, the rapper highlighted the significant influence Tic Tac has had on him since he entered the entertainment industry.

He stated that without Tic Tac's guidance and life coaching, he wouldn’t be the artiste that Ghanaians have come to know and appreciate.

“Everyone has their influences in life, and for me, Tic Tac's impact is greater than anyone else's. He raised me, and without his influence, I would likely be doing something else,” Pappy Kojo emphasised.

Tic Tac has indeed played an influential role in Pappy Kojo's life since he emerged in the music scene in 2013.

During the early stages of his career, Pappy participated in rap competitions, performing songs by notable figures like Tic Tac, Obrafour, and Lord Kenya.

Pappy Kojo became a household name with the release of “Realer No,” shortly after debuting in the industry.

This song earned him the Hip Hop Song of the Year award at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Other popular tracks include “Thomas Pompoyeyaw,” “Nana Ama,” and “Ay3late,” the latter featuring award-winning rapper Sarkodie.

In 2016, Pappy Kojo was also featured on Tic Tac’s song “Do All.”
