Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger has criticised media personality Afia Pokua for the individuals she chose to accompany her when apologising to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the chiefs at Manhyia Palace.
Schwarzenegger argued that Afia Pokua's remarks about Otumfuo were offensive, and she should have brought more prominent figures to help appease the chiefs.
She questioned why Pokua included Prophet Nicholas Osei, known as Kumchacha, suggesting his presence did not aid her cause.
In a TikTok live session, Schwarzenegger stressed that the treatment of Afia Pokua and her group, including Kumchacha, by the Manhyia Palace chiefs indicated the seriousness of the issue.
"Do you think Manhyia is made up of unreasonable people? Did you hear what they did to Oyerepa? Her disrespectful comments have angered the entire Ashanti Region.
"If you are going to apologise, why bring Kumchacha? That man is not as rational as he seems... Even as a pastor, you saw how he was treated at Manhyia," she questioned in Twi.
This follows the rejection of Afia Pokua's apology by the Manhyia Palace chiefs after her disrespectful comments about the Asantehene sparked outrage among the Asantes.
In an interview with Onua TV, Afia Pokua criticised the Asantehene for not addressing major national issues.
