Communication Specialist, Bridget Otoo says Charter House needs to make public their accounts and monies they make from organizing the Ghana Music Awards.

This comes on the back of Sarkodie’s plea to corporate Ghana to invest in making the Ghana Music Award prestigious.

To Bridget who was responding to a series of tweets from Sarkodie said Charter House is run like a secret cult where everything they do is not public knowledge.

To her, the organizers keep claiming there’s no money in the organization of Ghana Music Awards but have never made public the monies they make from sponsorships.

She said ” Sark, I keep hearing this line over and over. How much money would be enough for Charter house? So we even know how much @VodafoneGhana invests? Donthey make their financial records public? You can’t ask for more funds when you are running a secret society!”.

She challenged Charter House to tell the world how much was invested in the 20th anniversary by the lead sponsor.

“How much did @VodafoneGhana invest in the 20th anniversary. You really believe Charter house when they sing “we don’t have money, we didn’t get sponsors” if Ghana music isn’t profitable they should abandon it and let another company run it!”.

She mentioned that If Charter House is complaining about sponsorship, they should leave the event in the hands of another company.

“If Charter house is complaining about sponsorship, they should abandon Ghana music for another company .. I bet you they won’t cos Ghana music awards is what is sustaining the company!”
