I’ld shock my fans this xmas - Tinny

Ghana’s hip life Ga Mantse, Sexy Tinny, has promised his fans a mega entertainment bash this Christmas.

Speaking to Arts Crusade during the week, Tinny said he had spent sleepless nights working on his latest album, which he would launch in Nigeria by the end of this month. He said the album has some of the best songs he had ever done in his music career.

“Just as you are asking why I want t launch my album in Nigeria, a lot of people have asked me the same question. The fact is though I rap mostly in the Ga language, I have more fans in Nigeria than in Ghana. Anytime I visit Nigeria for a show, I get overwhelmed.

Almost all my fans there can sing my song word to word and 1 wonder if they understand what they are singing. I am yet to understand if it is the Ga Language that excites them or they just memorize my lyrics and flow along with me”, Tinny explained.

Arts Crusade has gathered that Tinny’s new album would be re-launched in Ghana either in the first or second week in December.

Though Tinny was very tight lipped, Arts Crusade has information that he featured most of Nigeria’s top ranking musicians on the album. Names making the round include 2face, Style-Plus amongst others.

“All I can tell you now is that it is a good album. An album that my grandfather as well as the teenager on the street would love to sing. And I am happy that after all the toils and sacrifices I made at the studio, the outcome was a good one. It would be an X-mass gift for my fans. I plan to shock all my fans with this song this X-mass”, Tinny promised.

Meanwhile, the Aletse Fan Club, which was formed to celebrate Tinny is rapidly gaining grounds and attracting more members. Almost every weekend, Tinny visits the Apapa branch of the club, where he fraternizes with its members. The club has also formed a football team of which Tinny plays the defence position.

“I get surprised when people think I can not play soccer. Look, my team is doing very well. I am the defender. At times I play full five and at times my friend, Ayew a.k.a “Solar” plays the number 4 position while I take the 5. We play all over, at the parks of Junior Secondary School, area football parks, church parks or any open space where we can play good football.

“The other time, we met Promxy and his friends at the football park of the Christian Methodist School near Circle and we taught them how to play soccer. Just last week, they came to La to play with us and just by share luck, won by a loan goal. We are re-strategizing to go back and give it to them just as we always do. Tell my fans I love them all especially the ladies”, he said.
