I am not a one-hit wonder - D Cryme

Darlington Kwesi Agyekum, better known as Dr Cryme, has discredited criticisms that he is a one-hit wonder.

According to him, his critics are entitled to their opinion. “In this world, if people do not talk about you, then you are nobody,” he told Prince Benjamin and Natalia Andoh on the E-News segment of Class Drive on Class 91.3fm Wednesday December 9, 2015.

“If you invite D Cryme for a show and I am ‘shaking’ there for a whole hour, are you telling me that I am playing just one song on repeat?” he questioned.

With regards to comments made by Reggie Rockstone that he (D Cryme) was perfect for the group ‘Praye’, he said he prefers remaining a solo artiste, but revealed they [D Cryme and Praye] are in the studio cooking up something.

Cryme – an acronym for Creative Rhymes You Most Enjoy – shot to fame in 2011 with his hit song ‘Kill me shy’.

‘Kill Me Shy’ went on to become a number one hit for two-quarters in 2011. Dr. Cryme Darlington has shared the stage with Spliff Star, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross and a raft of other artistes.
