Father of late dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has expressed his displeasure with claims that he’s a member of an occult group.

Nana Opoku who has been widely rumoured as an occult member said the late Ebony Reign was priceless and there was no way he could sacrifice his queen to an occult.

According to him, it’s a shame people like Kumchacha and others are asserting that Ebony was spiritually assassinated and he (Nana Opoku) sold her to the demon.

“Nana Hemaa was my best friend, my girlfriend, my mum, I loved her in as much as she loved me too, I can’t sell Ghana’s princess to the occult... Why is it for wealth or fame?” He quizzed.

Reacting to claims that he buried the late Ebony Reign in a black coffin to prove his loyalty to the group (occult), Nana Opoku Kwarteng said he doesn’t regret choosing the black coffin for the burial because Ebony was special and deserved a prominent coffin.

“It’s so sad Ghanaians link me to such a group, I dare anyone to come out and prove that to the public, there’s nothing attached to that black coffin and I don’t regret choosing it”, he told Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV.

Prophet Kumchacha recently stated that Ebony’s shocking demise was an assignment from her family, an allegation that supports Emmanuel Addai, a Kumasi-based evangelist’s earlier claims on social media, accusing Ebony’s dad of sacrificing his daughter to the Illuminati.

Ghana was plunged into a state of mourning on the 8th of February 2018 following the death of Ebony Reigns and two others on the Kumasi-Sunyani road.

The dancehall artiste was heading to Kumasi in a black Jeep after visiting her mother in Sunyani when the vehicle collided with a VIP bus that was heading to Sunyani from Kumasi.
