I believe in Mahama - Lydia Forson

Sassy actress Lydia Forson has revealed that she believes in President John Dramani Mahama contrary to what was reported from her posts about the president.

Forson has on several occasions been slammed by critics for putting up posts about President John Mahama and Archbishop Duncan-Williams in a sarcastic way.

But the ‘Perfect Picture’ actress told the host of Morning Starr Nii Arday Clegg Friday that her write ups are not intended to be disrespectful or controversial but just to express her frustration over current happenings in the country.

“I have always said that I believe in the President, I am not NDC or NPP, but I believe in the President because he is what we have now and if he leaves and another president comes I would believe in him because I have to believe that he can make things work”.

The 31-year-old actress added, “the post was just about a frustrated believer, basically when you believe in someone you keep hoping that the person would do something that would make you say yes...and the person doesn’t meet up your expectation but you keep hoping, so that was a post of someone who believes.

“I always say that my posts if I write and you don’t get it then it is not for you… I don’t have to explain English to you.”
