Barely two weeks after the successful sold-out concert by Ghanaian rapper Medikal at the Indigo O2 in the UK, conversations are still ongoing about which artiste is likely to achieve such a feat.
In light of that, 'One Corner' hitmaker Patapaa has insisted that he is capable of filling the 2,800-capacity arena and would even require a bigger venue if he were to hold a show in the UK.
He said this in response to skeptics after he inquired about the price of the Indigo O2 shortly after Medikal’s concert.
As reported by graphic.com.gh, Patapaa, whose real name is Justice Amoa, expressed confidence in his capabilities.
He added that he would receive patronage from fans all over the world.
"My team and I will make it happen. We will fill the Indigo O2. My fans all over Europe, especially those in the UK, have always waited for that day.
"I believe this is the right time and right opportunity to fill the Indigo O2, but I’m really scared about an overflow, due to the venue’s capacity but it’s all good," he said in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
Patapaa added that he had gotten offers from various promoters after his earlier post but refused them because he wanted a Ghanaian promoter.
"There have been several contacts from promoters to help make this happen after my post on social media but I’m only interested in Ghanaian promoters because I want it done our way," he added.
