I can't produce any song better than 'Adonai' - Sarkodie on music career

Award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, known in the world of showbiz as Sarkodie has opened up on his biggest song yet since he started making music.

The Highest” Album maker, none of his hit songs can be compared to or even comes close to his 2014 song, Adonai which featured Castro.

According to the “You go kill me” hit singer, Adonai brought him a lot of deals and gave him the opportunity to perform at many places both in and outside the country.

He however revealed that he might not be able to produce another song of “Adonai’s” qualities because he was not cut out for that kind of music. He added that rap music appealed to him the more and so making another song like Adonai was going to be very unlikely.

The rapper went on to reveal that his management kept urging him to produce another song like “Adonai” but according to him, he was going to stay true to his rap music and style.

Sarkodie added that some musicians in Ghana were noted for making songs according to the changing trends in the music industry to stay relevant but that was not what he was known for. He touched on his artistes, Strongman and Akwaboah and revealed that they were soon going to shake the world with their massive talent.

He said that he stood for rap and he was going to stick to that because rap music made him who he was. The rapper went on to indicate that he was preparing earnestly for his annual Rapperholic Concert which is slated for December 27.

The rapper was drawn into some controversy during the One Africa Fest which was held in Dubai. The musician who was billed to perform did not show up on stage on the night but he later rendered an apology to his fans and also gave the reason for the mishap.
